jGirls+ Magazine, now a program of Moving Traditions, is now accepting applications for staff editors and photographers.

Do you know a Jewish teen who:

  • Loves to read literature and discuss art?
  • Wants to join a community of creative Jewish teen girls and nonbinary teens from around the country?
  • Is interested in producing an online literary magazine by and for their peers?
  • Needs a brave space to learn and practice feminist leadership skills?

jGirls+ Magazine is an innovative, online community and feminist literary magazine written by and for Jewish girls and nonbinary teens. This paid pre-professional program teaches teens how to apply their perspective, vision, and creativity to produce an online magazine. Teens work alongside their peers from all over the country, from across the spectrum of Jewish backgrounds and experiences, and learn from visionary guest lecturers in the field of Jewish-feminist leadership.

All self-identifying Jewish girls and nonbinary teens across North America who will be in 10th-12th grade in fall 2025 are invited to apply!
